Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are the most esthetic restorations done in dentistry. They are thin, semi-translucent “facings” that cover the front surfaces of teeth. These beautiful and natural restorations can be used to cover teeth with large fillings, chips, mild crowding, diastemas (spaces between teeth), or resistance to bleach. Resin bonding can also be used in these same instances, but it is more likely to stain and discolor over time (porcelain restorations will not). Both types of restorations require daily maintenance and periodic replacement.
